HIJAAB WAALI (PART 5)
(Last Episode)
Some Glimpses from the BIG Last Part (70 Pages)
The huge auditorium was crowded with hundreds of people, all eager to witness the most
awaited and interesting talk show of the year. There were students of various universities
and colleges, couples, families, press photographers, cameramen, and various government
officials, waiting desperately for this most exciting talk show to begin.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
The anchorperson announced emotionally, her voice shaking with excitement. "So, ladies and gentlemen, please give a big hand to Pakistan's number one female debater, Miss. Sania Rubab!"
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"And now I'd like to invite someone
who favors and supports 'Hijaab as a life style'." The anchorperson rose from her chair and announced.
"Poor girl," The anchorperson whispered to herself in her heart and then
said,
"Please welcome, Miss. Hijaab
Zehra."
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Look
Here we've got an
UMO." A teenage girl with her arms
bare and head naked had exclaimed sarcastically.
"UMO?" Her companion asked, confused.
"Yeah man
'Unidentified
Moving Object." Her sentence was
followed by the laughter from many.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Oh my God. It can't be her." One of the girls from audience exclaimed with shock.
"Why?" Her fellow asked.
"That gal is a walking encyclopedia of
knowledge about Islam."
"But Sania is sharp. She's not less than her. She's the best talkative girl I've ever
seen. Nobody can defeat her." Her friend
had replied.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Aariz, I'm back
" Komal had looked at him through tear-filled eyes.
The young voice had caught him and turned him around.
Aariz's face was forbidding when he looked at her with weak expression. He looked much
thinner and weak. He hadn't shaved.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Sister, you are so lovely, so cute.
Believe me whenever and wherever you accompany me, it increases my value. Every one looks
toward us. Guys forget to close their eyes." Sheeba winked, and handed her sister the cute, maroon dress she was
searching for the last one hour.
"See this one," As she gave the dress to Deeba, she stepped
backward to give her sister a critical look who held the dress up her body and turned to
look at her own image in the mirror.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Oh my God, Deeba, where have you been with such a sexy body of
yours?" Her
cousin Maria had exclaimed in shock and surprise.
"Deeba, I really like your dress tonight. It fits so nicely over your
body." Another
of her cousin had said with envy.
Even many of her male cousins have openly admired her dressing and outfit tonight. They
thought she was looking like a real woman for the first time in her life.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Take her cloths off." Someone's
harshest and roughest voice was enough to send cold, cruel waves through her spine.
"Whoa
what?" Her
tongue trembled like the rest of her body.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Anger is a condition in which the
tongue works faster than the mind."
There was a complete silence in the
classroom, and they could hear one another's breathing.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
It was a late night; about two a.m. when the
telephone rang as Komal was trying her best to get some formal sleep after taking two
sleeping pills at a time. She reached out one hand for the receiver.
"Komal?" The masculine voice rang like crystal chimes over the wires.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"I wanted to be a doctor." It was a male voice. "But my father wanted to see me as a successful lawyer. I
accepted his decision, I compromised, I tried, I prayed and I hoped. The result is in
front of you. Now they count me among the most successful lawyers in London's Asian
community."
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"So, Farina
" The same mysterious voice asked again. "Did you confess your love yet or still
hesitating
?
"I
I am not hesitating." This
time, it was another girl's voice. "I am
scared." She told him.
"Scared of what?"
"What if he rejected me?"
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"I...I'm alright." Biting her lips, she took a steadying breath. "So, you wanted to talk?"
"Not here." He looked at her as if he still couldn't believe his eyes, and then added,
half impatiently.
"We need to go somewhere else."
"Where?"
"Just trust me, and follow me," He
gave her a very meaningful look. "You won't
be disappointed."
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Cheers!" He lifted his glass towards her.
"Cheers," She echoed.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Tell me honestly." She now looked
deeply into his eyes. "If you found out
that your wife used to like some one before marrying you, what would be your
reaction?" She asked as she put her glass
back on the table with a decided snap.
"Would you still think she's being fair to
you?" She reasoned. "Don't you think it's wrong to marry someone when she
used to love someone else?"
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Would you look at that? It's fabulously
feminine." She exclaimed in
approval, as she stared at the traditional Pakistani dress.
"Hmm, and especially for the forthcoming Eid, it's perfect." He said.
"No. I'm one of those who wait
until the 'moon night', the so called 'Chaand Raat', then run around try to buy everything
at once." She smiled at herself. "To me, that's the real Eid's spirit."
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Why do we close our eyes when we
sleep? When we cry? When we imagine? When we kiss? When we love? This is because the most
beautiful thing in the world is hidden." Hijaab said, looking to the audience to include them.
There was a big 'wow' from the audience on her comment.
"Talk about positive things, Miss.
Hijaab." Sania said sharply. "Be alive, and come down to earth."
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Most women like their beauty and all
that fanciness."
"Not this woman." She corrected.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Well, Zainab." She sighed and then continued her lecture. "Good marriages require patience, kindness, humility, sacrifice, empathy, love, understanding, forgiveness, and hard work. Following these principles should help any marriage to improve."
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
Could it be possible that God would grant him twice the magic of falling in love. He thought he was going to spend the rest of his life alone.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"May I say how beautiful you're
tonight?" He murmured slowly in a
deep, low voice.
"You're a beautiful sight for sore eyes." He added as he stepped forward to give her a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers.
His words made her heart sing and her
face warmed with pleasure.
"Thank you for these lovely roses." Her fingertips lightly brushed the delicate petals.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Are
you
seducing
me?"
His heart was beating so fast that he could hardly speak.
"What do you think," She gave him another teasing smile.
"OK, I'm a mature man, but just don't
expect my control to be limitless."
"What control," She licked her parted,
dry lips with a fine swift of the shiny tip of her wet tongue.
That did it for him.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"I love your lips, so enticing, so
vulnerable." He told her
admiringly.
"I see," She blushed. "What else do you love about me, by the way?"
"Many things." He grinned
soberly. "Want me to prove?"
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
He slid his hand to her shoulder and then
cupped her neck. He pressed and then skimmed his thumb along her bottom lip.
"You're exquisite." He whispered.
The pulse at her throat quickened, her lips apart, her eyes closed.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"Hmm?"
"Breakfast is ready."
"But, I'm not." She heard
herself say, getting closer.
"At least, not for breakfast."
